Three Latin American Albums!

I've been pretty lazy with updates for quite a while, so what better way to make it up than with three albums from Latin America? Good Deal!
Colombia!- The Golden Years of Discos Fuentes (1960-1976)
Genre: Cumbia
Size: 149.94 MB

Herein lies a compilation of the most popular of Colombian record company: Disco Fuentes. This 20-song set is composed of, if you haven't read the title, music from 1960-1976. Soundway did a terrific job putting this album together to show the better side of Colombia before the drug wars got out of hand.

But I'm not going to focus on that. What I'm going to focus on however, is this album. Every damn song on here is a classic. Every damn song on here makes you want to get and start dancing to the mesmerizing beats. Get this album!

Panama! Latin, Funk and Calypso on the Isthmus 1965-1975
Genre: Calypso, Funk
Size: 128.34 MB

Looking at Panama, the first thing that comes to mind is the Panama Canal. Ask about the music scene, and it's generally unheard of outside of Panama. But once again, Soundway to the rescue! Here's another compilation by this record company, once again done perfectly.

Panama! Latin, Funk and Calypso on the Isthmus is another album that makes you want to get up and move your feet, but possibly in a slower fashion than Colombia. This album has it's bangin' funk, and then it slows down to a latin-jazz tempo that can still rock.

Roots of Chicha- Psychedelic Cumbias from Peru
Genre: Psychedelia, Cumbia
Size: 117.72 MB

Here's the last Latin American piece of the day, this time by Barb├ęs Records. This album shares the same feel of the previous two albums, with with a distinct Peruvian sound and,of course, Psychedelia!

This is another great party album, complete with beautiful moog synthesizers and organs. Throw in some wah-wah magic, and you have a crazy album. This album oozes with good vibes, so pick it up!
